Spring has Sprung!
Well... sort of. The weather has warmed up here in Banff and melted off much of our snow pack in town, we finished our sleigh rides about 2 weeks ago. However, a fresh new blanket of the white stuff makes for happy skiers this morning! Preparations are underway at the barns to get ready for trail rides and we hope to have the first trailer load of horses into town in the next week or so. Our 1 hour ride is scheduled to start April 4th, however, we are waiting on the trail conditions to determine if that will be possible or not. A few of our guides have been made famous this winter on a TV series called Saddle Up! The film crew came out and shot 13 episodes of riding through the backcountry with us and it airs on OLN on Sunday and Wednesday mornings - check out www.saddleuptv.com for more details. The footage is amazing! There is still quite a bit of room for this summers tours so far but I do recommend booking your spaces early as some of them tend to fill up quickly. Looking forward to seeing you all out here this summer! I can't wait for the horses to get to town! Warm Regards, Jill Moellering
